Kelly Vento
Artistic Director
Kelly Vento has an extensive background in dance beginning at the young age of 3. She has worked and taught in various capacities including soloist, dancer, instructor and choreographer for more than twenty five years. Previously, Ms. Vento had been affiliated with the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance, taught dance and Pilates at the UCLA Conference Center and has worked as a choreographer for the Miss San Bernardino and Miss America Organizations. In 2004, Ms. Vento was certified by Dance Masters of America and in 2006 became a Certified Pilates Instructor by Body Arts & Science International. She has been trained in a variety of dance genres by internationally renowned dance professionals including Kim Maselli (Fame), Joyce Hurley (NBC New York) and Patrick Frantz (Premier Danseur with Paris Opera Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet). Ms. Vento has been actively involved in local communities both in Ventura County in the early 1990's, and in the San Bernardino Mountain communities after moving here in 1996.

Emalynn is a well-rounded and knowledgeable teacher with over 14 years experience as a pianist, and 16 years of dance training. She is skilled in many genres of dance including ballet, pointe, hip-hop, acro, improv, tap, and all styles of jazz.
As a highly competitive dancer herself, she continues to compete in dance competitions across So. California and has won many awards. Emalynn has auditioned and gained acceptance into the summer intensive programs of many prestigious ballet schools such as, Joffrey Ballet, The Rock School of Dance, Long Beach Ballet Company, and American Ballet Theatre. She has personally studied with The Joffrey Ballet School, and was chosen as a model for Discount Dance through a model search competition. She a recipient of the Presidential Award in academics and is currently on the Deans List at CSUSB. She is studying to become a sports medicine doctor. Given her very busy schedule, we are fortunate to have Emalynn's passion and knowledge as a teacher, choreographer, and competitor.
